Lawyers Panic Attacks

Spock ...

Spock or spread your privacy on the net!
Ouch! What I feared seems to materialize. Spock, new search engine on the personal data of individuals is born!

Spock quesako?
* Presentation
Spock is a search engine that aims to gather and collect personal data about individuals. Thus, a query on the name of a person and Spock gives you everything he has found!
* How does it work?
Spock collects all personal information that you or other persons or organizations have laissertraƮner voluntarily or not on the net. Using Technology other search engines to do this, Spock gives a more complete biography of the leftover data are important. Using many other sources (such as the wikipedia encyclopedia), Spock is constantly acroƮtre its database of information suggesting the worst

Spock: What dangers?
The first danger - and not least - of this new search engine is the invasion of privacy. So anyone who will capture your name may have information that you would surely not want him to get. For example, your neighbor will know when your last layoff, his reasons, second day of your marriage ...
The second danger is the use of rogue for this information: the road to hell is paved with good intentions!
The third danger is how far will this go search engine. Will there any limits? He overrides the law?
The fourth danger is the risk of retribution from some people. I do not like X, I will then provide all the information I have on him to Spock. Or risk of misinformation by giving erroneous information voluntarily

Spock: how to fight?
To fight against the perverse effects of this search engine:
- Do not drag personal information about you anywhere (in the first place your address). If you enter personal details please ensure that they are not sold (see the small marks near or just above the button "OK")!
- Tell your friends not to give personal information about you to anyone or anywhere. Now, even a personal site used to power Spock!
- Do you create a virtual identity
- Do not hesitate to assert your rights (invasion of privacy, defamation, ...) so that Spock is not a antorse to international laws.

Conclusion: Internet increasingly drift to the invasion of privacy. I am convinced that Spock is unfortunately still a step towards the "I know everything about anything and anyone." In the end, hope that makes Spock "plop!". Fighting!
